Adding a little protein to breakfast is one of the simplest changes we suggest, and one of the most noticeable.

How much is enough?

For most adults, around 20 to 30 grams at breakfast is a helpful target. That’s less than it sounds.

  • Two eggs and a slice of wholegrain toast

  • A large pot of Greek yoghurt with seeds

  • Porridge made with milk and a spoon of nut butter

Protein at breakfast keeps you fuller for longer, so the 11am biscuit loses its pull.

Start with three mornings a week and build from there.
